Zsolt Győrei and Csaba Schlachtovszky were both born in 1970 in Budapest. They became friends in elementary school at the age of six, and since then, they have exerted a strong influence on each other’s intellectual and artistic development. The fruits of their literary work, which include works of poetry and prose, scripts, musical libretti, tragicomedies, and cabaret shows, have been published in several journals and two collections of dramas. Győrei is a member of the faculty at the Hungarian University of Theater, Film and Television, and Schlachtovszky earns his living as a script editor for a drama series for television. They have also coauthored two hefty novels.
