The Czech edition of Gypsy Moses has been presented at the Prague Book Fair by the publisher Jiři Macháček (Protimluv), the translator, Robert Svoboda and the author, Zsolt Kácsor. The venue was full and the applause at the end of the event seemed endless.

Tilia Cultaral Agency has visited the Zagreb Book Fair to meet Croatian publishers and also to celebrate the new publication of The Valley, by Tarragon of Árpád Kollár recently published by Naklada Ljevak, in the translation of Lea Kovács.

The Tilia Talks are going on. Last Wednesday we had a very colorful talk with Éva Veronika Kalapos and Zsófia Czakó, where funny moments were followed by serious topics. Rozi Székely has read excerpts from the two authors’ texts.

Yesterday we had a deep and thoughtful talk with Gábor T. Szántó and Gábor Zoltán about 20th century Hungarian history and it’s impact on our lives. Kristóf Horváth has read excerpts from the authors’ texts.

We are pleased to share with you the list of our titles sold in 2023. This was our first year, full of new experiences, new partners, new contacts. We are very happy to close 2023 with good deals, with two excellent publishing houses. And here are the happy books at the beginning of their new…
