Anna GÁSPÁR-SINGER

Anna Gáspár-Singer was born in Budapest in 1976. She holds a degree in Hungarian Literature and Communication, and also studied Italian Literature. In 2013, she began publishing short stories in prominent literary journals. Her first book, Valami kék (“Something Blue”), a collection of short stories was published in 2019. Her novel manuscript of A hal feje (“The head of the fish”) received the Firgun Prize in 2022. Her main fields of interest are the absurdity of everyday life and the third-generation Jewish identity, which she approaches most ironically. She also works as a cultural journalist.
