
Árpád Kun was born in 1965 in Sopron. Since 2006 he has been living in Norway with his wife and four children. He used to work in a village as a home care aide for the elderly and a French teacher in a high-school. He has written four volumes of poetry and three novels and translated several poems of Thor Ulven. His novel, Happy North, won the Aegon Prize in 2014. He lives currently in Norway.
